Grahame Lesh sits in with Nicki Bluhm & the Gramblers to play “Barbary Blues” at the Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley, CA on 02/01/13. It was a magical night with Nicki and the boys as their show was being webcast live. Good times!

Nicki Bluhm & the Gramblers open up their live internet show from the Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley, CA on February 2, 2013 with “Jetplane.” It was an awesome evening of great tunes. If you get a chance to check out Nicki Bluhm & the Gramblers some time then go do it. They put on quite a good show every time.

The start of Elway‘s set at the Tony Sly memorial fundraiser show at the Vice Ultra Lounge in Walnut Creek, CA on 12/15/12. Usually, I try to record the first few songs a band plays until they stop for banter, but Elway kept playing and playing and playing so much that I eventually just had to stop recording before they stopped. These guys have a lot of energy. Go check them out!

NOFX rock out and play well while blazing through their set at the Ace of Spades in Sacramento, CA on 12/10/12. This is the first time I had heard them play “72 Hookers” live and it is probably the best I have heard them play it since.

NOFX continue to blaze through their set and keep the crowd moving with “Murder The Government” and “It’s My Job To Keep Punk Rock Elite” at Ace of Spades in Sacramento, CA on 12/10/12.

Green Day have released a new video for a song off their latest album ¡Tre! The “X-Kid” video reminds us of a simpler, analog time free of streaming services, iTunes downloads, and YouTube videos. There is not much to see in this video. Someone just presses play on a cassette tape and lets it play.

Let it roll yourself, and just listen to the music.

NOFX have premiered the music video for their new Christmas tune, “Xmas Has Been X’ed.” The  song comes from the group’s “double A side” Holiday single, which will be available digitally on Christmas Day, with a physical copy shipping in January. The video was filmed Saturday, December 15th in San Francisco and Walnut Creek, CA. In the day, the boys donned Santa garb and attended Santacon in San Francisco. They then went on to play a benefit fundraiser show for Tony Sly‘s family at the Vice Ultra Lounge in Walnut Creek. The show was a great time, albeit under sad pretenses. I was lucky enough to obtain tickets and attend the show with a bunch of friends. More videos and pics from that evening coming soon. Stay tuned!

Merry Christmas everyone!
