NOFX rock out and play well while blazing through their set at the Ace of Spades in Sacramento, CA on 12/10/12. This is the first time I had heard them play “72 Hookers” live and it is probably the best I have heard them play it since.

NOFX continue to blaze through their set and keep the crowd moving with “Murder The Government” and “It’s My Job To Keep Punk Rock Elite” at Ace of Spades in Sacramento, CA on 12/10/12.

Green Day have released a new video for a song off their latest album ¡Tre! The “X-Kid” video reminds us of a simpler, analog time free of streaming services, iTunes downloads, and YouTube videos. There is not much to see in this video. Someone just presses play on a cassette tape and lets it play.

Let it roll yourself, and just listen to the music.

NOFX have premiered the music video for their new Christmas tune, “Xmas Has Been X’ed.” The  song comes from the group’s “double A side” Holiday single, which will be available digitally on Christmas Day, with a physical copy shipping in January. The video was filmed Saturday, December 15th in San Francisco and Walnut Creek, CA. In the day, the boys donned Santa garb and attended Santacon in San Francisco. They then went on to play a benefit fundraiser show for Tony Sly‘s family at the Vice Ultra Lounge in Walnut Creek. The show was a great time, albeit under sad pretenses. I was lucky enough to obtain tickets and attend the show with a bunch of friends. More videos and pics from that evening coming soon. Stay tuned!

Merry Christmas everyone!

Looking down the Blue Devils drumline at the Nike Women’s Marathon in San Francisco on 10/14/12 as they motivate runners to complete their distance through Golden Gate Park.

Lagwagon rounds out their set with their title track, “Lagwagon,” on 02/25/12 at the Oakland Metro Opera House in Oakland, CA. A good end to a great night with friends and family.

NOFX introduce themselves to the crowd at Ace of Spades in Sacramento, CA on 12/10/12. Fat Mike comes out eating his pre-show avacado and introduces El Hefe explaining that he grew up in South Sacramento. Mike then goes on to say that “Sacramento” is his safe word. A precursor to a good night.

Teenage Bottlerocket play their short song, “Bottlerocket” at Ace of Spades in Sacramento, CA on 12/10/12 while opening up for NOFX.
