The Township Auditorium in Columbia, SC housed a packed lineup on January 22, 2012. The Menzingers joined hardcore icons Rise Against and A Day to Remember for some pyrotechnically-dense extravagance this weekend. We sent contributor Troy Browder to cover the show, and he produced some truly awesome captures for his first bit of work for the Thrillcall fam. (Seriously, two words: hovering guitar.) This past Tuesday, Steven Tyler was rushed to a hospital in Paraguay where he underwent treatment for a busted lip, cut forehead, and two broken front teeth. Steven has been in South America with Aerosmith on a tour where they have broken house attendance records. Although there has been some speculation that Steven has fallen off the wagon and has started drinking again, he assures everyone that his fall was just a result of dehydration from food poisoning. As Steven says:
“Frankly, I just passed out. I was in the shower and I got nauseous and I started to get sick and I just fell on my face. I just passed out and woke up with the water on.”
The guy is a performer though… Even with his busted lip and broken teeth, he still managed to play the harmonica at following shows.
