Dave Matthews Band have announced plans to hit the road for a long 45-date tour this Summer. Their tour begins on May 17, in The Woodlands, TX and then heads along the East Coast before heading out West. Their West Coast leg includes shows in Utah, California, Nevada, and a three-night run at The Gorge in George, WA.

Citi Cardmember presale starts on Monday, March 18. Tickets will be on sale to the general public beginning on Friday, March 22.

After a few shows on the West Coast, Les Claypool‘s Duo de Twang will be heading East for a run of shows beginning on April 18 in Atlanta, Georgia. The tour hits the Southeast for Wanee Festival in Florida and the Georgia Theater in Athens. After that, it’s on to North Carolina before finishing up in Philly, DC, and NYC at the Gramercy Theater.

Terrapin Crossroads announced plans to celebrate their one year anniversary, and Phil Lesh‘s 73rd birthday, with a series of special shows presented by the Unbroken Chain Foundation in mid-March. Tickets for all shows can be purchased at the Terrapin Crossroads Box Office online here. All shows are $65 except Phil’s House Party on March 11, which is $100.

To kick off their 2013 Worlds Within Tour with the African Showboyz, The Mickey Hart Band unleashed a new video introducing two new band members to their line up. The band has added Greg Schutte (drummer) and Jonah Sharp (sound engineer/keyboardist) to the current line up of Widespread Panic bassist Dave Schools, Grammy winning percussionist Sikiru Adepoju, Tony Award winning vocalist Crystal Monee Hall, singer and multi-instrumentalist Joe Bagale, and guitarist Gawain Mathews. As mentioned in the video, the band will be on the road performing brand new songs co-written by Hart and Robert Hunter, songs from Mysterium Tremendum, as well as Grateful Dead tracks hand picked by Dave Schools. See the video below.
