Last night Katy Perry and Ellie Goulding played to a sold-out crowd at the Madison Square Garden. This morning while scouring tweets written during the performance for our Twitter Twitter Review, we came across some “interesting” news. Early in the evening @JimmyEverett commented on the size of Perry’s belly. At this point nothing is confirmed, but @Jelipe88 stated later that during Katy Perry’s performance she announced she was pregnant.

Clearly, this is not hard evidence–but it’s certainly compelling. Over the last few weeks, several sources have reported about perceived changes in Perry’s figure. We sent Katy Perry an inquiry on Twitter. We’ll report back when we know more.
