The start of Elway‘s set at the Tony Sly memorial fundraiser show at the Vice Ultra Lounge in Walnut Creek, CA on 12/15/12. Usually, I try to record the first few songs a band plays until they stop for banter, but Elway kept playing and playing and playing so much that I eventually just had to stop recording before they stopped. NOFX have premiered the music video for their new Christmas tune, “Xmas Has Been X’ed.” The song comes from the group’s “double A side” Holiday single, which will be available digitally on Christmas Day, with a physical copy shipping in January. The video was filmed Saturday, December 15th in San Francisco and Walnut Creek, CA. In the day, the boys donned Santa garb and attended Santacon in San Francisco. They then went on to play a benefit fundraiser show for Tony Sly‘s family at the Vice Ultra Lounge in Walnut Creek. The show was a great time, albeit under sad pretenses. I was lucky enough to obtain tickets and attend the show with a bunch of friends. More videos and pics from that evening coming soon. Stay tuned!
