After a few shows on the West Coast, Les Claypool‘s Duo de Twang will be heading East for a run of shows beginning on April 18 in Atlanta, Georgia. The tour hits the Southeast for Wanee Festival in Florida and the Georgia Theater in Athens. After that, it’s on to North Carolina before finishing up in Philly, DC, and NYC at the Gramercy Theater.

Confirmed tour dates are as follows:

Les Claypool‘s Duo de Twang will play three shows in California towards the end of March beginning with a return to Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael, CA on March 20, The Troubadour in Los Angeles, CA on March 22, and Pappy and Harriett’s in Pioneertown on March 23. The short tour wraps up at the McDowell Mountain Musicfest in Phoenix, AZ on March 24.

Terrapin Crossroads

Terrapin Crossroads announced their first rambles of 2013, scheduled for January 24 through January 26. After God Street Wine opens each date, the members of the band will join Phil LeshJohn Kadlecik, and Jeff Chimenti for a special set of Rambles. Tickets for these dates are going for $65, and can be purchased now online and at the Terrapin Crossroads Box Office.

I know it’s last minute, but word on the street is that one of Les Claypool‘s new projects, Duo de Twang will be playing two very special acoustic shows soon. On October 4 the Duo should be playing at Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael, CA and then they should be playing again on Oct 6 at the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park. Joining Les as part of the Duo de Twang should be his old pal Marc “Mirv” Haggard.
