Drummer J. Tillman of highly acclaimed indie-folk band Fleet Foxes announced yesterday on his tumblr that he was quiting the band. He is quoted as saying "Farewell Fleet Fans and Friends. Back into the gaping maw of obscurity I go. Tokyo is my last show with the Foxes. Sorry if I was distant and obtuse if we ever met. Have fun."
I came across this great little video from Stephen J. Anderson the other day that put a smile on my face. According to him,
“I got bored and curious at the same time so I decided to see if I could turn my kitchen into a musical instrument… DIY style.”
Looks like some good ol’ fun around the house! Reminds me something I might have done with bandmates in high school. Good times!
