Bon Iver is festivaling it up this Spring, with upcoming appearances at Coachella, Sasquatch and the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival booked on the strength of 2011's self-titled, Grammy-nominated LP. Justin Vernon wants nothing to do with a Grammy performance, but he has scheduled his band for a string of 2012 US tour dates surrounding his festival appearances.
Bon Iver was offered a chance to play the 2012 Grammy Awards, where their self-titled 2nd LP is nominated for Best Alternative Album, but bandleader Justin Vernon turned the offer down, Billboard reports. The Grammy Foundation asked him to duet with an undisclosed artist, but Vernon denied on the basis that he wouldn't be allowed to perform any original material - though he referred to his would-be collaborators as "awesome people.
The Sasquatch! Festival has announced its 2012 lineup. Bon Iver, The Shins, Jack White and Beirut will headline the Pac Northwest's most beloved music and comedy festival, which takes place May 25th-28th (Memorial Day Weekend) at the Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Washington.

The 2012 Bamboozle lineup is gradually rolling in. Bon Jovi, Foo Fighters and Blink 182 featured on a leaked flyer yesterday, when Ticketmaster jumped the gun on posting their event listing, with the promotional flyer featured prominently on the page. We now have another handful of artists confirmed for the festival:
Looks like a Ticketmaster gaffe has leaked the Bamboozle 2012 headliners a little ahead of schedule. Bon Jovi, Foo Fighters and Blink 182 all appear in a promotional image on a page that was shared 2500+ times between Facebook and Twitter before Ticketmaster realized they'd jumped the gun on the announcement. The page has since been taken down, but the information is out there now.
